In the third part of my reading I've found that Esme continues to have a very open teaching style. Ive also learned that Esme doesn't change who she is because they might "like her more". I think this philosophy applies to more than just a book and instead goes for anyone throughout life. Esme isn't afraid to express herself and be who she is because of the fear of how people will perceive her. She is open to the students and comes off "unfiltered" to whoever she is around. Lastly, I think that Esme is trying to express herself and show that teachers don't have to follow a set curriculum for students to learn. They can simply be themselves and create a learning environment "tailored" to the students goals and needs.
